Bring Your Outdoor Vision to Life with Our Custom Landscape Design Renderings.

At Two Roots Landscape Design, we believe your landscape should be more than just a dream—it should be seen, felt, and designed with precision - long before a plant or a single stone is in place.

Why 3D Renderings?

  • Visual Clarity

See how hardscapes, planting beds, lighting, patios, walkways, and other features look in relation to your existing house and landscape

  • Better Decision-making

Adjust styles, materials, colors, scales in the design phase, so know exactly what to expect.

  • Avoid Costly Surprises

Test slope, drainage, view lines, plant heights, shade patterns—all virtually—so issues are addressed early.

How Our Design Process Works

We meet with you on-site, measure and take photographs, note existing hardscapes, trees, views, sun/shade, and get to know your ideas & preferences.

Initial Consultation & Site Survey

Once we’ve thoroughly discussed what you’re looking for, we build a realistic 3D model of your outdoor space. This includes realistic textures (stone, wood, grass), plant massing, outdoor furniture, lighting, and perspective views.

3D Modeling & Rendering

You review the renderings; we revise until it's right. Want to try different paving, a different planting palette, or change the furniture? No problem..

FAQs

Do I need to commit to construction??

No. The rendering service is available as a standalone design service. You own the design whether you proceed with Two Roots or someone else.

Will the rendering show plants mature size?

Yes—we model mature plant size, seasonal changes, and show massing so you know what to expect as the landscape grows.

Is permitting needed where I live?

Sometimes. If changes affect grading, drainage, or structures (walls, pergolas), local permitting may be required. We can advise and sometimes help with documentation.

How accurate are the cost estimates from the designs?

Once the design is finalized, we can provide realistic estimates for hardscape materials, labor, planting, etc. We build in allowances, but actual pricing depends on local material costs and site conditions.

How far do you travel?

We service most counties in Connecticut and the majority or Western Massachusetts.
